Build practical security capability through guided investigations, controlled labs and work you can actually show. Learn the method. Produce the evidence. Keep the proof.
Encoded command launched by an unusual parent process on workstation WS-104.
At GraySentinel, you learn by completing practical tasks. Each module gives you something real to save in your portfolio and show to an employer.
Each day has a lesson and a hands-on task. Choose a program below to see what you’ll learn over 8 or 12 weeks.
These are examples of the work you’ll create. By the end, you’ll have a GitHub portfolio to share with employers.
Want to learn both how to spot attacks and how security weaknesses are tested? You can combine the Blue and Red programs, with guided practice in both areas.
Access Support may be available to eligible learners in three groups. We explain the criteria and confirm any approved reduction before payment.
Each program helps you prepare for a type of cybersecurity role. A job is not guaranteed; hiring also depends on your skills, experience, interviews, and the job market.
Learning to test security must always be done legally. Red Team practice happens only in safe training labs or on systems where permission has been clearly given. We never ask students to test random websites or real systems without permission.
These are examples of the kinds of work a learner may build during a track. They are not claims about a specific learner's results or employment. Actual tasks depend on the selected programme and review requirements.
Document a suspicious event, review the available logs, explain what the evidence supports, and recommend next steps.
Assess an approved lab target, record the steps taken, explain the risk, and suggest a safe way to fix the issue.
Test how a defensive rule behaves in a controlled environment and document what it detects, misses, or needs to improve.
We focus on work a learner can demonstrate and explain. We do not publish performance or placement statistics unless the figures can be supported by a clear method and reliable records.
Complete tasks in approved practice environments and keep a record of what you did.
Explain the finding, the evidence behind it, the risk, and what should happen next.
Get feedback against stated criteria and improve the work where needed.
Keep suitable project evidence that you can discuss with a mentor or potential employer.
Proof Score™ is an internal assessment summary, not a certification, job guarantee, or independent industry ranking.
Seven teams working toward one goal. Each team has a clear responsibility, so people know who handles what.
Our goal is to help more people build real cybersecurity skills through hands-on learning, research, careful reviews, and work they can show.
Our rules are public, so you can understand how learning, scoring, privacy, and refunds work before joining.
Plagiarism: Copying from any source — including AI-generated work without attribution — disqualifies a candidate. GitHub commits are reviewed.
Respect: Zero tolerance for harassment, discrimination, or toxicity in community channels.
Integrity: Every submission must reflect the candidate's own work and understanding.
Free Evaluation: The first Free Roadmap Call is free. No obligation. A written roadmap is provided within 48 hours.
Scoring: Five dimensions — Technical, Logical, Communication, Problem Solving, Evidence. Total out of 100.
Appeal: Any score can be appealed within 48 hours. Reviewed by a second evaluator within 7 days.
No Placement Promise: We cannot promise a job or salary. Employment depends on prior background, demonstrated skill, interviews, market conditions, and employer decisions.
Talent Pool: Eligible graduates may opt in after their work is reviewed and they give consent. Employers may contact candidates whose work fits their needs. This does not guarantee interviews or placement.
Career Help: Graduates receive a written recommendation, portfolio feedback, and interview preparation.
Enrollment Fee: Refund details are shared during the Free Roadmap Call. No hidden charges.
Course Cancellation: If GraySentinel cancels a batch, full refund is provided within 7 working days.
Data Collected: Name, email, phone number, educational background, and evaluation data. Only for the purpose of assessment and support.
Data Sharing: Portfolio data is published publicly on GitHub (with candidate consent) for recruiter visibility. Personal contact information is never shared without explicit permission.
Data Deletion: Candidates can ask us to erase their information by emailing graysentinel.ai@gmail.com.
Reporting: Any concern can be raised at graysentinel.ai@gmail.com. Response within 48 hours.
Escalation: Unresolved concerns are escalated to the Founder within 7 days.
Confidentiality: All grievances are handled confidentially. No retaliation for good-faith reporting.
Participants can show employers projects, a Proof Score™, and a video walkthrough. This gives hiring teams evidence to review beyond certificates.
We believe in honest expectations. Here is what we will never promise.
Book a free 30-minute call with our team. Tell us about your experience and goals. We’ll suggest a suitable path: defending systems, testing security, combining both, managing security rules, or researching threats. You’ll receive a clear plan for what to learn next.
Yes. The 30-minute Free Roadmap Call is completely free with zero obligation. We use it to understand your background, assess your gap, and recommend the right track. After the call, we send you a written roadmap document — yours to keep, whether you join a program or not.
Access Support is a discount program for three communities: students & freshers (30% off), women in tech (40% off), and armed forces veterans (50% off, priority processing). Eligibility is verified during your free evaluation, and the discount is reflected on your final invoice. We don't advertise it publicly — we verify and apply.
Standard runs for 8 weeks and includes 35+ practical tasks to build your foundations. Premium runs for 12 weeks and includes 50+ tasks plus more advanced topics, depending on your chosen path. Choose by depth, not by promised job title.
You don’t need to be a cybersecurity expert already. Being comfortable using a computer and being willing to solve problems is a good start. We teach the basics, and people from non-IT backgrounds are welcome.
No. We can’t honestly promise a job. We help you build practical skills and a portfolio that employers can review. Getting hired still depends on your performance, interviews, background, and available roles.
Proof Score™ is a score out of 100 based on five things: your technical work, reasoning, communication, problem-solving, and the evidence you provide. It reflects what you can demonstrate, not just what you remember. The target is 60+ for Standard and 75–85+ for Premium.
Yes. Security-testing exercises happen only in safe practice labs or on systems where permission has been given. Students are never asked to attack real websites or expose passwords or private information.
After your work is reviewed, you may choose to join the GraySentinel Talent Pool. Employers may review the projects you choose to share and contact you if there is a fit. This does not guarantee interviews or a job.
Yes. You can combine Blue and Red training. The combined option takes 12 weeks for Standard or 16 weeks for Premium, and helps you understand both how to defend systems and how to test them safely.
Blue Team: Splunk, ELK, Sysmon, Sigma, YARA, Volatility, Autopsy, Python. Red Team: Burp Suite, SQLMap, BloodHound, Impacket, Metasploit, C2 frameworks. GRC: NIST CSF, ISO 27001, DPDP Act, GDPR toolkits. R&I: MISP, OpenCTI, Malware analysis tools. All labs are free or open-source.
We’ll explain the program, fee, and payment options during your free call. If you may qualify for Access Support, we’ll check that too. You can review the details before deciding.
Start with a free 30-minute call. We’ll discuss your goals, suggest what to learn, and help you decide whether GraySentinel is right for you.
After the exam, you can book a roadmap call to discuss your next step.
